# KOHO-CHI (7) <tr.> Site Proposed No.7
SETSUBUN-SO MERIT    It's light and there's shade.  The ground is dry.
DEMERIT    It's far from the road.

  • It's so far from the town.
  • When I saw this place from the road, it looked good.
  • This is where called "Shimoryoke".
  • It's near where Setsubunsou blooms. (a little white flower.  Soryo is famous for it, too.)

# KOHO-CHI (7) <rep.> A Year Later
Last year I joined "ART SPHERE HAIZUKA 1998" for only one week and I could visit TETSUO's tent sites from this KOHO-CHI (7).  It seems easier to find KOHO-CHI (7) to (13).
As TETSUO refered demerits of KOHO-CHI (7), it was some distance from the road.
To know the way to KOHO-CHI (7) and the owner of the land, I asked an old man who was working in a cowhouse on the oppoite side of the road.  And I asked him about a guy who had put up a tent there the previous year.  Then he answered joyfully,
"Yeah, I remember him. I saw balloons there."  But he said with pointing at a house,
"The owner is difficult.", and told me that it's better not to expect her.
When I came near the owner's house, an old man came out of a house next to it, and I spoke to him, "Hello" and asked him about TETSUO.  He answered,
"Yeah, he was there, I remember." and told me that TETSUO had put up a tent under the chestnut tree that stands in the center of the hill.
NUT Listening to these two old men, I didn't feel that they had had a bad impression to TETSUO.  And I visited the owner optimistically.  Then an old woman (she is an owner) came out of the house.  I asked her about "KONNICHIWA TENT".  Then she frowned and indicated with a wave of the hand that she didin't like it and wanted me not to ask about it.  I explained slowly that I would not put up a tent and never bother her.  She told me that neighbors frowned at her the previoius year.  She said, "In the countryside, the public-opinion is important."  Public-opinion! How large-scaled it is!
In my thought, I thought that neighbors just had asked her what it had been.  I took just a picture of the place where TETSUO had put up a tent at a distance with her leave.
The view seems fine.
But it seems difficult to sleep on the slope.
